The date of John Fry's death is in dispute.
The
Portrait and Biographical Record of Portage and Summit
Counties, noted below, reports his death in 1828; but Gene
R. Snyder of Menasha, WI, reporting to the Family History
Department of the Later Day Saints, gives the year 1835,
based on the cemetery records of Greenlawn Cemetery, Uniontown,
Ohio. Sometime after his death, his wife, Anna, and part
of the family is said to have moved to Knox County, Indiana,
where she died in 1874.
Third Generation
